Human Rights

Forest Rights Act (FRA)

Awareness  generation activities are being undertaken among tribals and forest dwellers to promote biodiversity conservation for livelihood and food security, regeneration of forest resources, water conservation through ground water re-charges, wildlife protection, prevention of causes of climate change, forest-based agro-horticulture, NTFP etc. in forest land (both under individual right and community right).

Right To Education (RTE)

Education is not a privilege. It is a human right. We have been creating awareness on education as a human right among the parents in remote areas since 2009. As the RTE is legally guaranteed for all without any discrimination, we facilitate the local administration to protect, respect and fulfill the right to education.

Panchayat Extension To Scheduled Area (PESA)

The Panchayat Extension to the Scheduled Areas (PESA) Act-1996 came into force in India on the 24th December, 1996. Being a civil society, we have been promoting provisions of the Act in Odisha since inception. PESA legally recognizes the right of tribal communities to govern themselves through their own systems of self-government and also acknowledges their traditional rights over natural resources.
