Odisha being a natural calamity-prone state, disaster preparedness and management is core activity of any civil society in the State. Ama Adhikar is facilitating formation of a volunteers-base to encourage participation of people in relief and rescue operation and responses to any disasters in a two-fold approach. The organization’s disaster rescue team immediately rushes to the victims with relief and necessary support to facilitate a quick response to manage the situation. Secondly, the rescue team collaborate civil society response to the emergency by various stakeholders active in the State for wider impact.
